Yankee Cook is where you'll find the recipes and thoughts of one frugal New Englander. All of these recipes are well-loved and have been rigorously tested for accurate cook-times, temperatures and ingredient quantities, so they should be good to go.
I started Yankee Cook in October 2009 when I was in grad school and had significantly more free time on my hands. I'm now employed full time, which is awesome, but I have less time to devote to this. However, Yankee Cook is not dormant, I promise. Even if you look at the date on the latest post and it's like 3 months old, I am still thinking up recipes and in some cases I'm even writing drafts that just don't get finished. It's just tough to post with less free time. Check back every once in a while or add us to your RSS feed and see what's new.
Maybe sometime Yankee Cook will join the tweeterverses or the the face books, but for now I'd rather not feed that machine.
